NXT-X One Night Only: Champions Choice was the fifth PPV event produced by Crossverse federation NXT-X. It is the first PPV event of Season 2. The background of One Night Only: Champions Choice, is that the champions of NXT-X are allowed to choose their opponents for this event instead of having Number 1 contendership matches on episodes of Excite and Xplosion before the event. It is the first event under the "One Night Only" series. Unlike other PPV events, the Champions were allowed to choose the match stipulation and opponents. Only Championship matches are allowed to take place.
